Possibly The Best Store Bought Cheesecake?

Turtle Cheesecake

Turtle Cheesecake

I am a cheesecake lover! I’ve had more than my fair share of cheesecake since I started eating it about 10-12 years ago. Plain cheesecake is fine… but there’s something about cheesecake combinations that is absolutely irresistible. Cheesecake Factory has pretty much mastered cheesecake combinations. From their decadent red velvet cheesecake to the rich peanut butter cup cheesecake and white chocolate raspberry truffle cheesecake, they pretty much have it all.

Now, I never thought I could find cheesecake of that caliber at a supermarket. But I sure did! Although it’s frozen, and comes in a small package, it is absolutely amazing. As the saying goes, great things can come in small sizes.

I discovered this Belmont Turtle Cheesecake in the freezer aisle at Aldi’s, one of my favorite supermarkets. Two slices are neatly packaged and sold for $1.99. I let it thaw for about an hour, then eagerly plated a slice and sat down to enjoy it. This cake is so decadent, so rich, my taste buds could barely believe that it was less than $2.00. For real, where can you get such good cheesecake at such a low price?!? Creamy cheesecake, topped with caramel, chocolate chips, and walnuts, on a dark chocolate wafer crust… it took me to dessert heaven!

I am now hooked. I dare you to try it… you’ll be hooked too!

    • Hi Rose, thanks for stopping by. Honestly, I don’t know where you can purchase that in cleveland. Perhaps you can check the next time you go to Aldi’s? I’ve never had that variety myself, nor have I seen it carried at my local Aldi’s store. Good luck with finding it!
